ummm... People should do their research before answering questions on here and possibly ruining lives. Yes it can, and there are many other substances and meds that can cause false positive results for meth, or "methamphetamine" (retard) and almost any other drug they test for. just do your research on Google and get second and third opinions if you can find them. I suggest reading up on erowid.com. I think thats how it's spelled. Good luck.

∙ 13y agoDrugs such as prednisone and methylprednisolone (Medrol) often cause confusion for patients who are told these are "steroids." Rest assured, this is not the anabolic-type steroid abused for muscle building. It is unlikely that a pre-employement type drug test would screen for methylprednisolone, however as part of the drug test you should be asked what prescription drugs you use. We assume that since you are asking the question, you have a prescription for the Medrol. As such, you should have no issues with a drug screen.
