No. Many women do that because they don't know they are pregnant yet and some even take Birth Control pills and everything works out fine.

Can you tell if your pregnant by the first two weeks?

you could be pregnant in the first 2 weeks if pregnancy test is blue

When does first week of pregnancy starts?

This can be confusing! The first week of pregnancy is actually considered to be the day of your last menstrual period, before you are technically even pregnant! You are actually two weeks pregnant when conception occurs, and generally four weeks pregnant before you can get a positive pregnancy test!

You'am 7 weeks pregnant What does it mean when you are bleeding but a pregnancy test sys positive?

What to expect during the first 2 weeks of pregnancy?

Most women don't even know they are pregnant at that point. There should be very few symptoms of pregnancy if any, at only 2 weeks pregnant.

Is it possible for a pregnant women to vomit in the first week of pregnancy?

No. Pregnancy is calculated as 40 weeks or 10 months from your last monthly period. The average woman ovulates around day 14 of her cycle, so if she has sex and gets pregnant when she ovulates, she would not even know she was pregnant until she misses her period around day 28. So, this means that the first two weeks of a 40 week pregnancy, you are not actually pregnant. By the time you can confirm you are pregnant, it has been around 4 weeks from your last period (and two weeks from your ovulation date). Since you are not actually pregnant those weeks, there would be no pregnancy symptoms.

Is it true your first two wheels of pregnancy your not pregnant my doc said my baby is 9 wks im 9 wks how does this work?

The first day of your pregnancy is the first day of your last menstrual period. At two weeks or so is when you conceive. So when your 4 weeks pregnant your embryo is actually 2 weeks or less old.

If you are 32 weeks into your pregnancy when did you get pregnant?

Would you get your period the first few weeks of pregnancy?

no -- once pregnant you won't get a period, however some people do experience bleeding especialy during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. the bleeding you get during the first few weeks i implantation bleeding. Visit www.askdramy.com it has plenty of info on early pregnancy and bleeding

If your pregnant when do you start counting your months?

Its hard to explain but I will try my best. When you conceive, you are technically two weeks pregnant because doctors consider the last day of your menstrual period to be the first week of pregnancy (even though you really aren't pregnant). You cannot discover pregnancy till about two weeks after being pregnant, so if you find out right away, you are about four weeks pregnant.

Why does my pregnancy test still say I'm 2 weeks pregnant?

Either you are two weeks pregnant, or the hormones of a normal pregnancy stopped dividing - usually indicating the pregnancy has been miscarried.

Can smoking and drinking affect your pregnancy as early as two weeks?

Your baby develops the fastest during the first trimester - especially the first few weeks. Smoking and drinking during the first few weeks of pregnancy can effect the baby. Smoking while pregnant increases the mother's risk of having a miscarriage. It also decreases the mother's folic acid which increases the risk for neural tube defects. Smoking during pregnancy can lead to a baby that is small for his gestational age. Drinking during pregnancy is also linked to an increase risk of having a miscarriage. Additionally, alcohol is associated with fetal alcohol syndrome and the baby could suffer possible fetal abnormalities. It's safest for the mother and her baby if the mother develops a healthy lifestyle before she becomes pregnant. If you are already pregnant, take the necessary steps to improve your health as soon as possible so your baby doesn't suffer any consequences.

How many weeks pregnant do you have to be to get a positive pregnancy test?

One to two weeks.
