let me elaborate - my ex was physically and emotionally abusive. Has been in the physc center at a local hosital and been in rehab. I finally left him in April '09, in Aug '09 he starts calling saying he wants a bday kiss, I tell him to go get it from his current gf, he tells me he did, but that he wants once from me. Then he tells me they're engaged, then he starts coming around, showing up at my house telling me he made his 'decision' and he wants me and is afraid to leave her cuz of her family. That she makes him feel like a glorified babysitter and doesnt wanna play daddy to her kids. Then he says no, they only dated and he said that they were engaged to hurt me. He begged me to trust him, to let him back, he cried to me, called me, txt'd me and emailed me. the whole time swearing he was with 'no one'. Then she emailed me cuz she found an email and wanted to know what was going on cuz they were engaged and living together. I gave her all the emails but by the end of our back and forth emailing she said she was gonna stand behind me, that he's doing them best he can, that he's so good to her and her kids and that she wont belittle him like I did (cuz I ask that he be the 31 year old adult he's supposed to be, instead of hiding behind his mommy to pay his bills since he cant get a job). I know what the stats are of someone like him changing. But I cant help but wonder that since he's found some older broad who's willing to let him mooch and not be accountable, that he will 'behave' for her. His mom tells me that they are struggling financially and in their relationship, that her kids are always around (so he wont get the selfish attention he likes) and that he's soooo lost and confused. But then she says that he's 'restrained' for her. I need to know that even though she does everything I didnt (like enable him) that he will hurt her too, that this wasnt my fault
