Will a metal detector detect gold?
Yes, metal detectors detect gold but there are different detectors that are optimized for different types of gold. Jewelry, coins and other large amounts will be found easily by all purpose metal detectors. Gold detectors are designed for finding gold in the raw - flakes, tiny nuggets or deposits in highly mineralized soil.

A metal detector can detect all types of metal....depending on in what type of soil it is in.
it is head fry question u can't get the answer so leave this question and move forward
A metal detector can detect most if not all types of metals. This depends on the quality of and the methods used by the detector. Modern high quality detectors can also dis…tinguish between various metals found and the size of the metal found. They can even tell you an approximate distance to the metal detected. (Gold, 1 foot down, size 1 Kg, You be very very lucky) (Iron, 12 feet down, size 10 Gram, Don't bother digging) Metal detectors can also be used for safety at airports or similar.
Of course they do.
Nope. Just metal...
Depends on the size of the metal detectors, and the size of the metal under the surface of the earth. The bigger the metal detector, the bigger the piece of metal, the deeper …down it will detect.
If you are talking about metal detector that you buy as a hobby for finding things then yes of course it will. But security metal detectors are adjusted so they aren't usually… set off by something like earrings or a ring if that is what you mean. Though if you have a lump of silver in your pocket I imagine you would set off any metal detector. There are many instances of metal detectors detecting silver. Some of the largest treasure finds in the UK were hordes of silver coins found by people using metal detectors.
Well, most metals can be detected by a metal detector, but some metals which are a mixture of metals and other materials may not be detected.
yes they detect all metals
Basically No. But the detector have a camera then yes.
Braces. Metal detector. My answer would be yes, considering braces are metal. Kids, don't try this at home. Or anywhere else. Anyways, yes, braces can probably be detected by …a metal detector.
Technically speaking it can detect through anything, however the depth at which it can detect will be effected by various factors such as density, moisture and more importantl…y base metals present in the sand and soil layer. One of the biggest factors is metal density and variety in the soil layer. An area rich in a variety of metals will require a detector with excellent discrimination in order to decipher specific target metals or there will be too much background metal to find a specific object. Basically it comes down the quality of the detector, the depth it can penetrate and the level of discrimination that it can be set to that will allow it to pick out specific metal combinations. A poor quality detector will get confused and go off constantly if there is a high volume of metals in the soil composition and if it lacks the ability to tune out the "background" noise of those metals.
