That # 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 is the firing order on V-8 engines, Not a intake #. Still don't know what intake you have.
yes it will fit but you will have to change the intake manifold to the 1998 style.
YES, Direct bolt on.
NO it dose not the type-s has a different head on it then the base type .
No because the ports on a tbi head are different than the ports on a vortec head, vortec heads need a vortec intake however you can switch a carburated engine to a tbi engine because the heads are the same
Yes but the 1g intake manifold port size is too big and the head stud bolt holes may need to be widened to 12mm from 11mm. You can use the 1g intake but a 2g intake would be recomended.
will 1995 Chevrolet 350 intake fit a 1997 vortec heads
Yes, it will fit.
An intake from a Pontiac 400 will fit a 389 as long as the engine, or more specifically, the heads are from model year 1965 or 1966.
Any small block head that you want to put on it up to the year 1999. But any head after 1986 will still bolt right on, But to be able to use a Carburetor on it the intake will have to be modified,
some of them will.depends if they are roller rocker or studded. also check for match at the intake gaskets. not all will fit, but some definitely will.
no
The '99 has more bolts. If you have the lower intake also, you can swap the whole thing. The upper alone wont fit. Intake issues are very common for these cars.
