There is a very high risk that it will be so. But people are hoping, and giving him 48 hours, that he will resign. Resigning will be better off for his future. Honestly nobody knows, chances are though is that he will be.

It is possible, but not likely.

He has not yet been indicted, or charged, with any crimes. There appears to be evidence of several potential charges, but the prosecutor has yet to determine whether or not those charges will be brought.

While there is a chance he could be charged with multiple felonies, the prosecutor might offer a deal to plead guilty to lesser misdemeanors and not face more serious charges.

If he is convicted of a felony, he would lose his ability to practice law, but might avoid spending time in jail if he receives a probationary sentence.

It is possible, however, if convicted on all of the potential felony charges, that he could face many years in federal prison.
