We live in a world that is controlled by electronics. We live in a world where we eat, breathe, and sleep electronics. We love electronics in this day and age. Picking a career in electrical engineering is a great way to ensure that you will have a job in the future. It is unlikely that we will use less electricity and electronics in the future. Also, you get to apply physics and math to better humanities quality of life. If you enjoy math and physics but also want to see what you design become something real, engineering is a great choice. You will also get to learn about electricity, magnetism, material science, physics, chemistry, computer programming, and advanced math. Because you are exposed to so many different classes, you may find something you like even more. The diversity of the training program will give you the opportunity to explore your talents and interests. I seriously recommend engineering or even physics. After you take them, you see the world differently. You understand the world and what goes on around you. It is a wonderful feeling to use a computer and know how it works all the way from the operating system to the logic gates, to the Silicon in their field effect transistors, down to their valence electrons excited to the conduction band, and then all the way down to their energy levels and quantum behavior. See? You'll love it if you love to know how the world works.

An electrical engineering graduate student.

P.S. I was bad at math, so if you are too, don't let it discourage you. You will get better and it will be more fun when you're applying it. Take linear algebra too, very early on, it helps a lot.

I like the electrical engineering because it gives me the idea on how does the flow of the circuit going. I do not know actually what is this but the only reason why I am entering this course is to know more about the electricity. We have a subject on the 10th grade namely Electronics, but it is opposite to electrical. Electrical stands for the big components while the Electronics is for the small components. That's the difference between the two. Some reasons, i also like to repairing things like the chargers, gadgets, and so on. I am fun looking at it. So what's yours?

Job preferences are personal preferences. It is what you like, enjoy or are good at. One person may enjoy looking after the sick another may prefer being a teacher. Differences are part of being human.

There are things that we do not like as well. So someone with a fear of heights is not likely to make a good steeplejack.

This is a part of career planning and your life vision.

This is a too open ended question and because everybody's different some people might absolutely hate engineering.

Electrical engineering text books for 1st semester?

Some recommended textbooks for a first semester in electrical engineering might include "Fundamentals of Electric Circuits" by Charles K. Alexander and Matthew N.O. Sadiku, "Engineering Electromagnetics" by William H. Hayt Jr. and John A. Buck, and "Introduction to Electric Circuits" by Richard C. Dorf and James A. Svoboda. These textbooks cover essential topics in electrical circuits, electromagnetics, and basic circuit analysis, providing a strong foundation for further studies in electrical engineering.

What is the difference between electrical engineering and electrical power engineering and what bachelors degrees that will allow me to get a masters degree in mechatronics engineering?

Electrical engineering is low voltage, logic circuits, communications etc. Power engineering is electrical transmission and the like. You want EE.
