It is due to the fact that they only care for themselves and they might think you aren't good enough. Get over it, since you are obviously scared they might try to get revenge for you not thinking they are good enough. But it is not in a narcissist's nature to harm, since that would be deemining themselves. KthxBye

What is the relationship between paranoid and guilt?

Feeling guilty or paranoid are both troubling states of mind but there is no obvious connection. However, imagine that you felt paranoid at work. Perhaps you believe your boss has stopped your promotion because he doesn't like you. Later, on reflection, maybe you accept that your performance has been only average and it was a fair decision. Then you might feel guilty about your negative feeelings towards your boss.

Is it normal to be paranoid While your in a good relationship?

The basis of a healthy relationship is trust. When you have trust in your partner, you will feel a sense of security they are committed to you. You need to do some self evaluating as to why you're feeling paranoid. Is he/she showing signs that make you question their commitment? If your answer is no to this question, then the problem is not your partner. Are you perhaps letting your insecurities and issues from past relationships seep into your current relationship? If you know this to be true, then it's time to do some work on yourself and learn how to be in a healthy relationship. Most importantly is to learn that that you deserve to be in one.
