Tallinn TV Tower was closed to the public on 26th November 2007 due to the renovation works. It was reopened to the public on 5th April 2012.
Tallinn TV Tower was created in 1980.
The lean had increased to where there was risk of the Tower collapsing. Then the Tower was closed while work was being done to steady and strengthen the Tower until it was safe to visit again.

There are 1665 steps from ground level to the top of the tower, using the stairs of the eastern pillar. The stairs from the second floor up to the top (more than half) are closed to the public.
The Sky Tower was opened to public on 3rd March 1997.
The Eiffel tower is 300 metres tall without the antenna, 324 metres to the top of the antenna. You can go up as far as 276 metres, the last bit is closed to the public.
