In the early days, the Romans would kill people that were christian, so to keep the religion going and to make themselves feel safer they started to live in groups big or small. They would pray to God and reflect on themselves. Before long the Romans started killing everyone who WASN'T christian! Some people in the groups left happy that they could live a normal life once again but others stayed in the groups they liked living together and praying to God.
