That is a very good question. Hindusm is not a religion. That is a way of life of the people from Bharata. Every types of view is allowed as per Hindu religion. You say there is no God and only there is material world. That view was tolerated by others. So Hidusm teaches the tolerance basically. Only thing was that you needed to be honest about your opinion. Because of this flexibility the age old religion is still existing. Lord Krishna is the one GOD concept as per Geeta in Hindusm.
