specific gravity is 1gm per cc that means 1000 gm per liter and molarity is gm per liter /molecular weidgt = 1000/18\

we have,

gm/lt= Molarity*Mol mass

so, 1000=molarity*18(for water H2O)

thus, molarity= 1000/18
