Why philosophy is queen of all sciences?
Philosophy is regal, womanly regal. It was the earliest to develop out of human thoughts. It is considered a mother to all sciences. It in fact spawns sciences. Philosophy attempts speculation on things when science is not able to test them. Philosophy forms hypotheses which, when it becomes equipped enough, Science puts to tests and either proves to theories or discards as fallacies. Philosophy walks in front of science leading it, and progresses through science into newer hypotheses, unsatiatingly. Every science begins as philosophy and ends as art. Leaving her gains to her children, i.e., the sciences, philosophy like a regal queen mother passes on discontentedly to the yet unexplored things which she alone can speculate on.

no it isn't . Philosophy trys to look at reality through religon. Science does it through experimentation. Actually philosophy does not look at reality through religion! It l…ooks at reality through Logic and Reason. It also criticizes religion and science by using these philosophical methods. So philosophy is not a science, it is a way of analyzing truth claims......but if you consider mathematics a science....then philosophy is a kind of science because it uses formal logic (discrete mathematics) to solve truth claims. Scientists will gush on forever at the power of science, and rightly so, but many dismiss philosophy. This is probably due to lack of understanding. Philosophy can help to clear up fuzzy thinking and unreasoned arguments, therefore it is a helpful and powerful tool to help us understand the world.
philosphy can be categorized as a science because both the main objective of philosophy and the sciences is to make discovery of things. although the sciences make use of the …laboratory to prove their discoveries, philosophy makes use of the mind to prove the existence of things. this my reasoning please tell us more They can be categorized together, but science is based on factual evidence, and philosophy is based on mental/mind proofs made without material evidence.
Philosophy is to develop humans from their animal instincts to real human being with qualities such as compassion and worthiness.
because it is the study of life.
Many branches of science have been called the 'Queen of Science' (mathematics, physics, astronomy, to name a few). It is an emotive term, usually given by influential pr…oponents of a specific branch. Geography has a great relation with all other subjects.eg:Botony-Phyto geography,Zoology-Zoogeography,Ecology-Human Ecology, etc.
Philosophy underpins political theory, which is vital to modelling empirics and understanding the normative valuation of politics and political interaction.
Because it uses the tools of science to explore humans.
Because one can conduct studies about the sociology of ... As in, "the sociology of history" or the "sociology of economics". Sociology is the only social science in which one… cannot say "the sociology of sociology".
How is Thales theory that the origin of all things water significant in the history in philosophy and science?
It's significant because Thales provided a naturalistic account of phenomena instead of a supernatural one. That is, he formulated his one principle based on actual observatio…ns, not stories of divine origin. It's also significant because he used a single principle of explanation instead of a bunch of answers, thus unifying diverse phenomena under one idea. The word we translate as Thales' single "principle" of explanation is the Greek word ARCHE--which literally means a thing that "rules." So it's as if his principle of explanation "rules" the phenomena, which might remind you of the idea that there are "laws" of nature that supposedly dictate what we observe. Obviously this is a metaphor, but it's a powerful one that's still in use by scientists. So, Thales' specific answer of water may not seem significant, but the form in which and the method by which he created his explanation is unique, hence a breakthrough in HOW to think about things. BTW, the greatest Greek philosopher, Aristotle, has good things to say about Thales and calls him the first philosopher.
The philosophy of science is concerned with the assumptions, foundations, methods and implications of science. It is also concerned with the use and merit of science and s…ometimes overlaps metaphysics and epistemology by exploring whether scientific results are actually a study of truth. In addition to these central problems of science as a whole, many philosophers of science also consider problems that apply to particular sciences (e.g. philosophy of biology or philosophy of physics). Some philosophers of science also use contemporary results in science to reach conclusions about philosophy. Philosophy of science has historically been met with mixed response from the scientific community. Though scientists often contribute to the field, many prominent scientists have felt that the practical effect on their work is limited; a popular quote attributed to physicist Richard Feynman goes, "Philosophy of science is about as useful to scientists as ornithology is to birds." In response, some philosophers (e.g. Jonathan Schaffer) have pointed out that it is likely that ornithological knowledge would be of great benefit to birds, were it possible for them to possess it. :D xx
math is the quen of sience becaus without math there would be no sience
because it is a common word
It is simple because with out it there is nothing to make you think about somthing that has no plain answer. For example "what came first the chicken or the egg" there is no o…ne answer and you need to think about it like a women.
Because science has ALL the subjects in it. (Math, reading, history, technology etc.)
The discipline of philosophy sprung from various minds having different life experiences which helped to mold their way of thinking; their way of explaining life's vagarie…s. So, who is to say which model is correct? One point of view can be just as valid as the next. There is no empirical evidence to say which thinkers' viewpoint is the absolute correct one. Whereas, science deals in hard verifiable facts which have been replicated by other scientists following the same experiment parameters. A fact, in science has been nailed down three ways from center using the Scientific Method, before it can be labelled as scientific fact.
In many circles philosophy is considered the basis or "mother" of sciences is because philosophers like Aristotle, Socrates, Plato and other ancient Greek men of letters delve…d into the natural world to explain their surroundings. That all matter is composed of water, earth, air and fire as per the mind of Empedocles, was embraced by men such as Aristotle.
