Why no water from new pipes?
There may be debris in the pipe from adding the new pipes that have plugged the screen in the faucet. The end of the spout has the screen and unscrews. The valves themselves can also be plugged.

If you're installing a new water heater with current copper piping is there an advantage to sweating new joints or can you just use compression fittings?
While most people won't go to the extent they should to properly install a water heater the appropriate method is as follows: 1: the water heater has threaded fittings most li…kely 3/4" npt threading which should be mated with like diameter GALVANIZED nipples at least 2 inches in length. 2: mating to the nipples now extending from the water heater should be a DIALECTRIC UNION. This union is made to prevent contact of dissimilar metals. With a flow of fresh water across two dissimilar metals electrolysis will occur causing excessive corrosion of adjacent plumbing. In direct answer to your question YES redo your sweat joints and my personal preference is NOT to use compression fittings. Answer I agree but try to use brass or copper instead of galvanized? As of this post 06-07-2013 there have been so many advancements in fittings no one answer will cover it all. I know of plenty of "Pro-Press" jobs which are just fine but probably what ever fittings you are comfortable working with will work fine. Only warning watch out for dissimilar metals on domestic water lines that supply drinking/bathing water as it's oxygenated and will cause electrolysis to occur.
You need to know the radius ( 1/2 the inside diameter ) and the length of the pipe. Then, you use this formula to calculate the volume: . Pi ( 3.1416 ) x r 2 x length
Just installed a new shower with new copper pipes going from galvanized pipe now there is very little water pressure why?
Anytime you disturb galvanized pipe you usually have some rust or buildup come loose. This will either stick in the valve or clog the shower head. Depending on how old the gal…vanized pipe is and how hard your water is you may have to clean the control valve several times.
You are relocating your kitchen sink you must move your drain and water lines how do you tap into the main drain with a new PVC piping The main pipe is already PVC?
Depending in which part of the world you live in will depend on what legal fittings are available. in most cases, reducing collars are available which are PVC welded onto the …main line.
Yes as it takes about 5 minutes to teach an 8 year old how to clean and properly solder copper fittings... The only problem is learning how to size the piping system to preven…t erosion and learn to compensate for the coefficient of expansion per degree of temperature change to prevent a noisy system
How can you get better hot water pressure with galvanized pipes Is there any other way except putting new water pipes like a plumber told me?
You actually SHOULD replace the galvanized lines as they completely rust up on the inside. The only other thing that you could do is purge the lines with high pressure air or …water. Careful though! You would be taking a risk that a fitting would blow!
Water company builds dams filled with water. It is then cleaned by using chlorine put into pipes underground and linked to houses.
Can copper and galvanized pipes mixed cause the hot water pressure low new water tank and still low pressure?
The question makes no sense. what doesn't make sense ,the house has installed half of copper pipes and half galvanized the cold water is running fine but the hot water is s…low and they said it might be because it has copper and galvanized piping mixed instead of all at once. It makes no sense because you have used no punctuation beyond a single comma (where there should be a question mark). Even with punctuation added, the grammar would not great. As to the problem, assuming that the pipes are the correct size (bore), and none are old and full of scale, the excuse as put by you here, is nonsense. What might have been meant, is that galvanised pipe is very thick-walled compared to standard copper, so that may be the problem - the pipes are really too small. What are the dimensions of the galvanised pipe? You are also not comparing like with like. Cold water will almost always be at mains supply pressure, fed directly off the rising main. Hot water will be at a pressure determined by the maximum head of the system - the vertical distance between the outlet and the highest part of the hot water system (which is usually a loft tank). In a house, this usually means that a hot outlet downstairs is at around double the pressure of any hot outlet upstairs. A standard installation would give at least a 6 foot head, usually more, even in a bungalow. Measuring the static pressure of the hot water (the pressure at the outlet, with no flow), will tell you nothing because the problem could be pressure drop when there is flow, especially if the pipe is too small.
Yes, as long as the water coming out of the pipe has a greater pressure than the water that is covering the pipe. If it is the other way around, the water covering the pipe wi…ll actually flow into the pipe. Think about it. It just makes sense.
100s of feet, depends if he is fat and slow or skinny and fast, or lazy or not. If he can smoke on the job while working he will work much faster.
A plumber had a 5-meter length of pipe in his truck He used 120 centimeters of the pipe on a new hot water heater and 240 centimeters to repair a floor drain How many meters of the pipe are left?
5m - 1.2m - 2.4m = 1.4m The plumber has 1.4m of pipe left.
A bong or a water pipe is a special pipe. When a person smokes with a bong, they pull the smoke through the water in it. This makes the smoke not as hot. Most often, eithe…r tobacco or cannabis are smoked with it
Water is pumped in by the municipal water system or by your own pump and pressure tank.
when water is dripping its water. ehen its greasy its oil
The water supply water pipe is the water service pipe that bringswater into a building. The water supply pipe comes from the roadinto the house.
If you have a new pressurised water system there is a possibility that the added water pressure could cause a leak.
You can purchase new water pipes from your local hardware store. Some home improvement stores also sell them, like Lowes, and some specialist bathroom outlets sell them too.
