Your faucet may be clogged. If you have good pressure elsewhere in the house, this is your most likely culprit.

You may just have crappy overall water pressure. If you don't have good pressure in the tub or elsewhere, consult with a plumber about installing a pressure tank to increase your water pressure.

First check the H/W tank and make sure water is going into it. there is a pressure relief valve on the side flick it open and water should run out. Test the v]inlet valve to make sure it's open. If these things work, then your tank is possibly plugged with sludge. Open the valve at base of tank(with a bowl or pot under it and see if you get water there. If not, you need a new tank. If it's older than 12 years you've had more than your money's worth.

Something is wrong in the control unit. Take it apart and remove central part, take to store, get a replacement kit and fit it.

If your current vanity has 2 taps and a water spout can you replace it with one with a mixer set up?

If the taps and the spout are not connected in one unit, the spacing on your sink is probably 8 inches center to center. The only faucet I have seen for a bathroom sink with that spacing is the two handle type. There may be a single handle available. A kitchen faucet may work if the holes in the sink are large enough. Kitchen faucets are 8 inch also. If yours is 4 inch, then it is no problem, they are common.

How can water pressure be increased if you put in a new sink with higher taps which caused a loss in hot water pressure and you have an emmersion heater tank 10cm above the top of the taps?

Many of the newer faucets have flow restriction devices installed. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about it unless you know how to take it apart and enlarge the flow hole at the restrictor. Of course, that will void the warranty on the faucet.

Why in a multistory building the pressure of water in the taps coming from the overhead tank at the ground floor houses is more than that of taps in the fourth and fifth floor houses?

How much water would a sink hold?

Sinks come in all sizes and shapes, and the best ones have an overflow hole to prevent flooding the kitchen or bathroom should someone leave the room and forget to turn the taps off. When you buy a sink, it is usually stated that the capacity is in litres! But it is more usual to go by the size of the space the sink is expected to fill, the placement of the taps and the waste drain position. Then, of course, is it a single or double draining board, and is it stainless steel? After working out all that, the capacity takes second place, especially as I use a plastic washing up bowl that sits inside my stainless steel kitchen sink.
