Why is energy source renewable?

The term renewable energy refer to timely balance of energy collection and consumption.

Fossil fuel took around 1 million of year to form but about 200-300 year of use till deplete thus it could not be regenerate within our civilization time frame. In other hand, if we use energy from biomass or solar cell, we collect energy, store and use at the same pace and it will not be depleting at any few million year from now. Since the collection of energy is at pace with consumption then it is considered renewable resource.

Wind and Solar energy are considered renewable as this energy is constantly there and only requires to be harnessed. No matter how much we use of this energy, we will naturally have more of it.

Renewable energy is the answer to our future energy needs and many companies are engaged in developing technologies that will help us benefit from these renewable energies.

However, keep in mind that the energy and waste products used to produce the collectors of these renewable energies exceeds the amount of energy they produce which does not support the end goal of clean energy.

It is renewable because you can keep using it. You can get electricity from a solar panel one day. Then, the next day you can get it again.

This is different to fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas). When you burn oil one day, you can't burn the same oil next day. It's gone.
