Yes it is.. It's Not That Bad If you Mix it proper Vegetables Then it can even make you lose Weight!!!

The main sources of "unhealthiness" in lasagna is the potential use of high-fat mince and a high fat cheese sauce. If you make the lasagna yourself, clearly you can control these two factors and create a healthy dish, along with adding in plenty of vegetables. After the mince has cooked, you can drain off the fat before adding any other ingredients, which greatly reduces the calorie and fat content. You can also just make a white sauce, as opposed to a cheese sauce, to further reduce potential unhealthiness. Alternatively, using lentils instead of meat is a nice variation.

But never expect a ready-meal lasagna to be healthy. Fat, salt and sugar are used to make up for lack of flavour from other sources.

No, not if it's eaten without added oils and fats and ate in moderation. It's definitely not bad for you if you eat it before strenuous activity like before a hockey game or soccer game because it gives you the needed energy to keep you going.

Lasagna does not have to be fattening if made with premium grade ground beef with little or no fat. The white sauce is made with butter and flour, however the butter can be replaced with a good quality vegetable oil such as rice bran oil. This will reduce the saturated fat content.

For the cheese topping, substitute with low fat shredded cheese.

depends on how much lasagna you'd eat.

It depends on the contents. If you prepare lasagne using low fat ingerdients then it isn't as fattaning as normal lasagne.

If you ate alot and don't exercise then Yeah you'll gain some pounds but once in a while wont do any harm. Just don't eat over your calorie intake , if you over eat your calorie intake you better start Jogging or do cardio and diet so becareful (:

It's not all that bad for you. It is high in calories, no doubt, but it is high in protein and calcium from the meat and cheese in it. It's also high in carbohydrates which is a great energy source prior to strenuous work or exercise.

spaghetti is good for you, but only should be eaten in moderation. Dont forget spaghetti is a starch so too much of it can result in an unwanted weight gain.
