Due to the gravitational pull on the earth from the moon and the sun. The moon pulls the water from the earth towards it and so does the sun.
Low tides are called Neap tides and are low because the pull from the sun and the moon cancel each other out (it would be much easier to explain using a diagram)
High tides are spring tides and are high because the sun and the moon are alligned, creating a strong force.
we have high and low tides, because of the gravitational pull the moon on the earth..
Extra high tides are called spring tides and extra low tides are called neap tides ********************************************* Spring high tide is a tide that is very high and reaches high up the beach. Spring low tide is a tide that is very low and goes far down the beach. Neap tides are the high and low water tides that range over the beach between the Spring tide marks.
High tides, low tides, spring tides (which are maximum high tides) and neap tides (which are the lowest of low tides).
high tides are high water level they are called spring tides and low tides are low water level they are called neap tides. high tides and low tides occur when the sun, earth and the moon are inline. during new moon there are high tides at west and east and low tides at north and west, because the direction which the moon is facing that direction will have a high tide.
Spring tides are when high water is far up the beach, and low water is far down the beach. Neap tides don't move up or down the beach as spring tides, so they are in between.
High tides. The others are called low tides.

Fifteen thousand feet.
They consider high and low tides in their journey because if it is high tide the water level will be high but if it is low tides the water level is low.
Low tides
Pretty much at every beach connected to an ocean, or seas and even rivers close & connected to oceans. An other rule to remember is: the steeper the beach (or sand of you want) the less effect that low and high tides have. Some places as examples: - Rio de Janeiro - Punta del Este - Beach at the Hague - Fanö beach - Miami beach - etc
High tides. The others are called low tides.
So the seafarers will know if they will travel safely or not for instance: the tide is high,,,, the seafarers know it the know that they wont be safe in high tides but in low tides ,the sea level might not be high enough for their boat to ride on safely
medium tides
Actually, there are TWO high tides and TWO low tides, on almost every day.
