The son of God you came to die for our sins that we will be able to live in heaven when we pass over...of chourse you have to accept Christ first to get into heaven....
At the time of Christ there wasn't any Christianity. Jesus himself was a good Jewish lad. My understanding of the Christian belief system is that nothing started until the who…le resurrection thing was done, which is after "the (life) time of Christ". The creation of Christianity as a separate faith came several years later although the followers of Jesus reportedly identified themselves as Christians. According to Wikipedia "The earliest recorded use of the term outside the Bible was when Tacitus recorded that Nero blamed the "Christians" for the Great Fire of Rome in AD 64 (64 CE)" In the beginning of the Common Era there were numerous "Messiahs" walking around Israel. Except in modern looking back by the Christians, their Jesus probably didn't stand out too much. Examples: Theudas, Judas of Galilee, "That Egyptian", Simon of East Jordan, "The wonder working Bedouin", Simon Bar Kosiba.
Born again christians center they're faith around the fact, thatthe being who created you sent his only son to die, so that youcould live on forever. The faith is also centere…d around knowingthat God is good, just, kind, loving, and fair. He is a god that isalways there for you and want to have a relashionship with you. Nota one way worship cerimony. Born again Christianity is arelationship, not a religion.

What doctrine became a centerpiece of Christian faith and preaching and the basis on which early Christianity proclaimed Jesus as Christ Explain its significance Be specific?
I assume from your comments, you have never actually read biblical text. Christianity is not built upon some doctrine which was defined by men, its based upon law as defined …by our Creator (Father), you will find the details given in the book of Leviticus and again in Deuteronomy. The law was given to Moses and to the house of Aaron (priest line) it was documented by the scribes of Israel on scrolls. . Read the the second chapter of the book of Ezekiel, if you have the ability to understand, you will understand our Fathers word from that testament. Jeremiah 32, 36, 43 and 45 will help you understand the relationship between a prophet and a scribe assigned to that prophet. . Christ was prophesied as Immanuel by the prophet Isaiah 7:14, The gospel or good news was the affirmation that Christ was in fact Immanuel as defined by our Father to the prophet Isaiah. Christianity is the fact that Christ became the one and only sacrifice for one and all time for the sins of men (Hebrews 10). The good news is that we as the children of the Lord God, all have the ability to earn eternal life for our soul in the 3rd earth age (2nd Peter chapter 3). Each and every soul (who are not election, has the freedom to choose if they will accept Christ as Immanual, obtain forgiveness for their sins, and continue to abide by our Fathers law in order to obtain eternal life for their soul). That is a very condensed version but it gets to the point. Just remember the decision belongs to the individual and can not be forced. We will all be judged for our decision individually, Revelation chapter 20. . Now this answer is very condensed as there is not enough space on several harddrives to contain all the details to your question, so it is assumed you were looking for a summary with some specifics you could look into on your own. .
Because of the many verses in the Bible that state so. Ephesians 2:8 - God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from Go…d. Romans 10:9-10 - " If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved" . Those are just a few of the many verses that prove that works do not prove a person saved..

There are many scriptures that answer that question. Here are afew. John 17:3, John 3:16, Philippians 2:5-11. . Philippians 2:9,10 reads "For this very reason also God exalte…dhim to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that isabove every other name, so that in the name of Jesus every kneeshould bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those underthe ground."
Because his suffering and death, for us, is the central tenet ofthe religion... that is why it is called "Christ"-ian.
