Alice in Wonderland is about a 7-year-old girl named Alice. She is sitting with her sister when she sees a white rabbit with pink eyes and a pocket watch. She follows the rabb…it down a rabbit hole and enters a magic world full of nonsense called Wonderland. She eats cake to make herself bigger and drinks juice to make herself smaller. She meets very strange creatures and people in Wonderland. She tells stories to a Mouse, a Duck, a Dodo Bird, a Lory and an Eaglet. She has tea with Mad Hatter, Dormouse and March Hare. She hears stories and dances with a Mock Turtle and a Gryphon and meets a crazy queen, the Queen of Hearts. Then at the end of the story, she gets attacked by a deck of cards, but it turns out that it was all just a dream and she finds herself back lying on her sister's lap. The 2010 Tim Burton movie is all about Alice (Mia Wasikowska) when she's about 19 years old. When asked for her hand in marriage by Hamish she runs off and follows Mctwist the rabbit down the hole and ends up in Underland. The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) has destroyed half the land. She meets the Tweedles and the blue Dodo bird and the blue Caterpillar, Absolem. She reaches the Cheshire Cat who leads her to the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), March Hare and Malyumkun the Dormouse. She steals the vopal sword from the Red Queen and returns it to the White Queen (Ann Hathaway). When the Frabjous day comes she wears the champion's armour and fights the Jabowocky on the battle field. The White Queen reigns again and Stayne(Crispen Clover) and The Red Queen get sent to the Outlands and Alice returns to the engagement party with an anouncement. She refuses to marry Hamish and instead she becomes a new apprentice in her late father's company.
'Alice in Wonderland' is several things. Firstly, it is a shortened version of the name of a book by Lewis Carroll whose full title is 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. It t…ells the story of a little girl named Alice, who follows a white rabbit down a hole to an extraordinary place called Wonderland, where she meets some bizarre and remarkable people, and does some bizarre and remarkable things. 'Alice in Wonderland' is also a name given to Lewis Carroll's book AND its sequel, Through the Looking Glass - they frequently appear printed together in a single edition. The third best known usage of the term is in reference to the 1951 Disney animated adaptation of the books. 'Alice in Wonderland' is based predominantly on the first book, but also includes material from the second. Then, 'Alice in Wonderland' also is also the name of any of a number of other adaptations of Lewis Carroll's book, be they for stage, screen or television. Most recently, 'Alice in Wonderland' is a film by Tim Burton, which acts as a sequel to Carroll's books, and is set several years after Alice's first adventures in Wonderland.
Alice is the hero of Alice in Wonderland. She is a seven year old girl, who lives in England in the 1860s. She was inspired by a real little girl named Alice Liddell, althoug…h Lewis Carroll, the author of the book, said that the character of Alice wasn't based on any real person. In the 1951 Disney animation, she was played by Kathryn Beaumont.

In the books Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, all Alice has to do to return home is to wake up. In both cases her awakening is preceded by her becoming angr…y with the ridiculousness of the Wonderland, and standing up to the figures in authority there.
She followed the White Rabbit and fell down the rabbit hole.
Alice doesn't really have any enemies but she doesn't like the Queen of Hearts because she is not nice.
There isn't an explanation! Alice is blond and blue eyed with pale skin which makes her seem adorable.
There are two beasts in the 2010 film that could possibly frighten timid little ones. There are a few loud, surprise moments that could also make kids jump. For the most pa…rt, the film makers did a good job at keeping this Disney film appropriate for all ages. There is no questionable language, no sexuality, and violence is kept to action style sword play and chases. There are some loud, growling monsters and a large dragon that is only slightly scarier than the dragon beast from the finale of Disney's Sleeping Beauty. There is one animated moment where a cartoon mouse pulls out a beast's eyeball with his little toothpick of a sword. My 6 year old didn't seem to be bothered by it at all, on the other hand I spent the next 5 minutes rubbing my eyes! no its not scary but the adults think it is scary .
Alice in Wonderland is rated PG for fantasy action/violence with some scary images and situations. It should be alright to watch with parental supervision, and as long as the …child doesn't scare too easily.
Well if you are talking about the ' New' one they have made, it might be OK... But it depends. In the new updated Alice and Wonderland Alice slices the head of off a creature …called a Jabberwocky. It sounds silly, but I'm pretty sure that's how you pronounce it. If your child ( or anyone elese's ) is scared easily you could probaly skip a few scenes' if you are able to. Thanks, and if I'm wrong please tell me! :)
In my opinion, Alice in Wonderland is better.
Alice learns that curiousity killed the cat. Because Alice was so curious about everything, she got herself into a good deal of trouble. The famous quote "Curiouser and Curiou…ser" comes from Alice in Wonderland. It is an example of her curiousity growing and the danger she's in as well.
she woke up from her dream.
The wonderland in Alice in Wonderland is called Wonderland. So she sat on, with closed eyes, and half believed herself in Wonderland , though she knew she had but to ope…n them again, and all would change to dull reality-- However, Tim Burton's 2010 movie changes the place name to Underland, which Alice mistakenly believes to be called Wonderland.
