If you mean like an official apology from the U. S. government, it's for them feeling they've done no wrong. Or at least none they are willing to admit to.

As to individual Americans, if it makes the "Muslim community of Iraq" feel better, many Americans are sorry for what has taken place, and what is still taking place. However, such are in as little position to do anything about it as any in Iraq were to do anything about Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait.
