The Philippines only has 2 seasons: Dry and Rainy. Because it has a tropical climate, the weather patterns and prevailing temperatures usually do not go below 65º F. The transition from dry to rainy is marked by hot, humid months of March, April, and May. the transition from rainy to dry is marked by the most pleasant cool, and less humid conditions during December, January, and February.

All countries, without exception, have four seasons.

The difference in the climate and weather is less noticeable in the lower latitudes.

Season are due to the tilt of the earth in relation to the sun combined with the orbit or the earth around the sun. The effect of the tilt of the earth is more noticeable at the polar regions and less noticeable at the equator and tropics.

The Philippines is a tropical country and in tropical and subtropical regions it is more common to speak of two seasons the rainy (or wet, or monsoon) season and the dry season, because the amount of precipitation may vary more dramatically than the average temperature.

In other tropical areas a three-way division into hot, rainy, and cool season is used.

In some parts of the world, special "seasons" are loosely defined based on important events such as a hurricane season, tornado season or a wildfire season.
It's nearer to the Equator. Season changes are subtle so it feels like summer all year long.
