Why does the Mazda tribute 2001 lose power sputtering when going uphill I just change fuel pump and filter?

My car was having the same problem. I took it to Mazda and they wanted to charge me $4500 to change out 3 catalytic converters and the Egr value. I did not let them touch it and mysteriously all of my brake fluid was gone and my car would not stop. I am not say that Mazda removed my fluid but I had just checked all of my car fluid the day before. Well, enough of that. I took my car to a honest muffler shop and they changed out the 3 catalytic converters and the Egr valve for only $420 and they found no leaks or crack in the brake lines or any think else. My car will now go a hill and all the performance is back. I codes B1352, T1000 and P0301/2 hope this helps!

First of all, if the check engine light is "ON" then that would be the place to start. If the fuel filter has not been replaced in the last 2 years then I would do that.

Gravity. Or your fuel pump is bad. There should be enough pressure from your fuel pump to push the fuel to the injectors. A clogged filter could do it also. I would change the filter first.

On my 1999 Chev Suburban the answer is the fuel filter. It appears when going uphill and trying to give it a lot of gas the engine is not get enough and misfires.
