Out of gas.
I would start by checking your sensors. You can flash the factory obd system by turning your ign key on and off twice. do it quickly and then the third time just leave key on, this will show you any codes that the car may be having issues with. all are displayed on the dig. odo. hopefully that help!!
this issue is usually caused by the output speed sensor. that is a common problem with all Chrysler products. it is located on the transmission

Are you sure you mean 2002 Chrysler Cirrus -- they quit making the Cirrus in 2000. It is now a Sebring
I have a 1999 300M, and funny to say, the same thing happened. two weeks ago my A/C stopped working, and now the radiator fans are messing up. I checked the fuse box and both hi and low radiator fanfuses were burned. I am going to take the car to be checked this week. I'll ket you know how it goes.
It would help to know what model and year the vehicle is, but the first thing that occurs to me is a poor electrical connection, especially grounds. Trace the ground cable from the battery and insure that all connections to the body and engine are clean and secure. On most cars that I work on this amounts to four or five connections in the engine compartment. Also anytime the check engine light is coming on, have it checked for codes.
Broken/ damaged motors (not likely if both don't work) Damaged wiring Blown fuse Check the fuses first this is the easiest/ cheapest problem to solve.
The battery light indicates the system is not charging. Have the charging system checked. If the alternator is not charging, the engine will quit running and leave you stranded.
