America is not "Just" a Christian nation. America is a mixture of many faiths including Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhist, Atheist, Agnostics, and people who just don't care one way or the other about religion. The one thing we all Americans have in common is the fact that we pay an exurbanite amount of taxes to our government. Much of that tax money is given to Israel. A reasonable person would understand that Israel's favored status as a recipient of our collective tax dollars makes no sense. As a matter of historical fact the Jews rejected Christ, tortured, and killed him. If indeed America is a "Christian" nation, why does our government pander to the descendants of those who killed our Lord?
