Why does my new sims 3 game go so slow on my 3 year old computer and i can put all of the sims 2 on it and it works fine?

Sims 3 works slow because it is a large file (like.. 5GB). Compare to sims 2 (which is only 1GB), it is too large. <-- Not quite.
Has more to do with your ram (how much you have) and your processor.

Hello! I have a Sims 2 game and a Sims 3 game, on my PC it works fine with both games. I am not positive, but It might b'e that you do not meet the requirments of the game, like not enought memory on your computer. Or, it might just be a problem with your computer. Hope I helped! B.

No it doesn't work for me . When you start the Sims 3 game the screen freezes and you have to restart your computer . It works for some people but I wouldn't want anybody to take the risk of having to buy a new Sims 3 game .
