What good would it do if Christ had given you a specific day and time? Look back in history at the many times people have given a calendar day and time for a end of earth event. Look at the Year 2000 or look at the coming year 2012. Christ at the time he made the statement in Mark 13:32 had not suffered death (crucified as the one sacrifice for our sins), and arisen back to our Father. Therefore at that point in time, Christ did no know the exact appointed time, but he does now.

Christ did leave us with an account in Matthew 24 Mark 13 and Luke 21, where we are given the signs which prepare us for the end of this earth age. He also told us to be Watchmen and watch for the signs and warn the people. Satan will return playing the role of fake Jesus, the challenge is will you allow yourself to be deceived by him? Do you know the signs of the end times which tell how to differentiate between the fake Christ and the true Christ? This is the most important thing to understand.

A date through time could easily be altered and made invalid. Just think about how many times the calendar has been altered since Christ gave this prophecy. Are you really sure todays date is accurately 1 Sep 2011? The only thing we can be sure of is the solar calendar through the year (equinox and solstice) beyond that we have not idea that 2011 is accurate. Therefore Christ gave you signs to observe which are accurate, and when observed together as a group provide ample timing and understanding of where we are currently. The problem is, most people have not patience and little understanding concerning those written events.

1) Christ told you to lean the parable of the fig tree Mark 13:28, which refers us to Jeremiah 24. This single prophecy nails down the end time events. Without the parable of the fig tree coming to pass the remainder of the events Christ describes are not the events of the end times. Jeremiah 24 describes the return of the tribe of Judah to the land of Israel, an event which you now describe as the existence of the State of Israel.

Once that occurred, then you watch for the remainder of the signs as given in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Remember that the word Nations in the Greek is Ethnos (where we get our word ethnic from). Also that the famine of the end times is defined in Amos 8:11 additionally that the earth quakes are defined in Luke as Megas or Mega earth quakes, Finally that the word troubles is the same as our english word sedition. A simple Strong's concordance/dictionary, will help you with the understanding of the words written as you can translate them back to the original Greek.

The other accounts are provided by the prophets in the old testament, they will all come true. Daniel is perhaps the most focused at this specific point in time as it defines what is occurring today. Read chapters 7 to 11. Chapter 8 describes what is occurring in the Middle East as of today.
