Its probably I the wrong file format.
That happened to me as well. A solution that worked for me was to right-click the .jar file, then hover over "Send to" and click "Desktop (create shortcut)". Then double-click the shortcut it makes and it should work.
When you downloaded the texture pack, it should be in a zip file. You have to put the .zip file into the %appdata%>.minecraft>texture packs if you are a mac user: Your Mac id>Library>application support>minecraft>texture packs. Do not use the Library in the macintosh HD Drive. Then you open up minecraft, then you go into texture packs and mods. Then choose the texture pack, then say ok, then play minecraft :)
If minecraft isn't working I suggest going onto your texture packs and click open the folder thing then find your .bin file and delete it. Don't worry it will as you might say 'respawn'. Hope this helped. :D
If your dragging the file on top of the jar then thats because the jar is a file and not a folder. If you drag a file on top of another file your say that you want to run file B with file A. Get a zip Archive software like 7zip (google it) If your using a archive software and this is still happening the only think i can think to tell you is open the archive.
You can find your screenshots by going into Library, Application Support, minecraft, then there will be a folder called "screenshots"
You can't make a Minecraft player actually speak. But you can press the T button to open up the chat.
No, not that i know of. I've heard a few people say they can but i don't believe it.
click cancel, then open
For most multiplayer servers, to close a faction, you say, "/f close". If you want to open it again, say, "/f open". This will only work if you are the faction leader.
If you are the host of the Server, you open up Minecraft Server . Wait for it to load then it will say its ready. If you are going to someone else's server, and it has no bars, then there server is not active. (Which means they dont have Minecraft Server up).
Say you get an email from your buddy and it's a photoshop file. If you don't have photoshop (or GIMP + the PS extension), you'll get an error message saying 'unsupported file' when you try to open the downloaded file. Basically this means that you don't have the program installed on your computer needed to open the file.
Don't just go to your files and click on the .sgm file, otherwise it will say "unsupported file". You have to open your game in vba and then go to File, Load (not the one with the dropdown menu), then click on your .sgm file. It should then just go right to it.
Depends on what mod you want. All i have to say is that you need WinRar to open files, You need how to open you .minecraft thing, and you need to now how to unzip files.
