I had this problem with my 1990 century. Turns out ther silenoid on my starter was bad, I replaced it and it worked fine. Also when its dark outside pop the hood and have a buddy look for any spark at all when you try and start it. If you see one you may have a wet or lose wire, Dist. cap, or spark plug I had this problem with my 1990 century. Turns out ther silenoid on my starter was bad, I replaced it and it worked fine.
