In a regular freezer, it's about 45 minutes, remembering that if you're freezing a lot of soda, it will take longer. If you put it in a cooler with just ice, it will take closer to 25 minutes. If you freeze soda, it will expand and likely break out the can - if you are looking for chilled soda, 25 minutes in the freezer or 15 in the ice will bring it from room temperature to chilly.
Potentially all of them. It will seriously wreck whatever is in there. Sometimes the can will just expand without exploding, though. It all depends on how much carbonation is in the can and the strength of the aluminum. Plastic bottles will act the same and glass bottles have the most potential for explosion.
Any liquid composed principally of water is less dense when frozen compared to the liquid at room temperature. Since it is less dense, its volume is greater. If the volume of water wants to be larger than the volume of the inside of the can, then it may eventually crack, releasing the great amount of pressure inside of it, spraying the liquid everywhere.
The water in the can expands when it forms ice. This expansion exceeds the capacity of the can's volume so it ruptures. The release of pressure from the expansion and escape of the trapped gasses causes the water to freeze rapidly.
It takes around 2 hrs. or less. But I can't be very specific. It also freezes at the temperature of water.
A frozen can of coke will not explode for no reason. This is unless you do something unusual to the can of coke.
Under what conditions...heat? cold? shaking? Under normal conditions, a can of soda will not explode.
It can take colas and root beers 2~4 hours because they have the most fizze, but other soda like mt. Dew can take over night to explode
Yes.
no i tryed it it will explode like coke and mintoes
NITROGLYCERIN is extreemly dangerous and can make most anything explode especially a bottle of soda. It is used to help people not have a heart attack.
It is the water in Coke that causes it to expand when frozen. Water, unlike most substances, expands as its temperature decreases, below a certain point. For an explanation, see = Why does water expand when it freezes? =
MethaneYes, methane is a gas that can explode.
Due to the chemicals in Coke :)
yes, but why?
Yes. As there is no air pressure outside, can of coke will explode due to carbon bi oxide it contains.
Yes it can but it isn't 100% the same
It does not but it does fizz!
yes they do
Mentos!!
Yes.
no it will explode
No, it will not explode. The reaction is more subtlecausing the drink to fizz.
because its AWESOME
depends how hard you shake it and how long the coke was opened
