I want to join volunteer work overseas because it would be a great opportunity to explore different cultures while doing something to bring about a positive change. Also, I would get a chance to connect with international volunteers.
You can find out for yourself. Below is a link to the United Nations Human Resources website. There is a list of available jobs on the site; see if you like any that you might qualify for. Not listed are the many local jobs at various international sites that hire local people.
my intention and subsequent resolved to work with the united nation as a volunteer is based on my love for peace and my country Nigeria and to contribute my own quoter to the development of youth and the society.
If you are not at all sure why you wish to serve as a UN volunteer, you should ask yourself why you are applying for the position.
If, on the other hand, you are just struggling to express your reasons in a suitable order, try writing all the reasons you can think of to that, and to these, questions: why might you benefit from serving as a volunteer? What skills do you have? Why should they pick you over others? etc. Then think, which answers are most important? Try to stick to a few answers and explain your reasons in detail.
Spend a long time on this question, as this is how they will judge your suitability.
It's a great opportunity to serve, to the organization that serves for you.
