Creating a storyboard will help you plan your animation out shot by shot. You can make changes to your storyboard before you start animating, instead of changing your mind later. You will also be able to talk about your animation and show your storyboard to other people to get feedback on your ideas. Here are 5 steps to make a great storyboard 1: Get a couple ideas out on paper so when you are ready to begin you can narrow it down to one or two ideas. Think through your ideas, plan your characters, as well as their personalities, quirks and hobbies. Choose a main character now. At this time you may also want to figure out what the mood of your story will be. 2: First you have to have your idea of your characters in your head, personalities and your basic story line. Now would be the time to add details to the story and dialogue. 3: Draw basic drawings putting everything in the places you have them in your head. Don't add details to your character or background yet, this is just the time to get your ideas on paper. 4: Get a few pieces of paper and a few things to draw with now you need to get your basic story line put everything together and adding details. Draw what is supposed to happen in your story or movie with notes and dialogue in captions on the bottom. 5: Put everything up, captions and pictures and ask someone to look over your work to make sure it makes sense. dont be gay.
