First, check that cold inlet valve to H/W tank is open. Next remove and clean aerator on this tap. If not flowing yet, check shut off valve below sink. If none of these work time to call an expert in.

A blockage in the faucet, depending on type it may need either a washer or seal replaced. Minerals may have built up in either the supply line on that side or the shut off valve under the sink. Shut the water supply off, take the line loose from the faucet and put the end of the line in a bucket and slowly turn on the water. If none comes out, take the line loose from the valve and try blowing through it. If it is clear, it is either the shut off valve or the supply line in the house.

In addition to the other reply about supply lines, I will add that flecks of metal from inside the pipe can become trapped in the wire filter in the end of the faucet. Turn off the faucet, loosen and unscrew the very end (you might need a wrench to loosen---work gently). A small thin 'basket' and a rubber washer should be in the piece you unscrewed. Tap the piece against the palm of your hand to pop the filter and washer out, or use a thin nail file to gently lift under the filter's rim. When the filter is out, lightly tap it against the wastebasket to remove debris. Rinse the filter under running water (bathtub or another sink). Hold it up to the light---check for rips or larger holes in the mesh. If okay, first, wipe an old rag against the open end of the faucet; try to see if any debris is in that end. Check the washer---it should be smooth, without rough edges or signs of wear or tears. Then, return the filter to the removed faucet piece, and be sure you put in a preferably new washer, and screw the faucet back together. You can "hand tighten" for now, or tighten it a bit more with the Crescent wrench. Turn the water on LOW to start just to see if you have water. If yes, problem solved. If not, see directions for checking the supply line.

Is there any reason you cant use bathroom light fixtures in other rooms in the house?

I mean there really should not be an issue, other than the fact that bathroom lights are meant to stand a certain amount of heat and fog whereas other lights in the house do not need that specialty.

The water pressure in your upstairs bathroom is getting low you took the aerators of the sinks and found a white sentiment buildup on it you also removed the cartridges from your shower valve and also?

When the water pressure in your upstairs bathroom is getting low and you find a white sediment buildup in the aerator of the sink, it is the most likely cause of low pressure. You can also find the buildup in other fixtures including the shower valve and cartridges. Cleaning the sediment from the parts helps restore pressure.

You have 2 lights in 2 different rooms that each work off each wall switch and they are not hooked up as a 3 way switch?

Can anyone tell me why? I rewired the upstairs and I know it is correct. It is an old house that had the knob and tube wiring. Alot of the rooms are on one circuit as I havent had time to split them up. The 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1 downstairs bedroom, Living room, dining room and bathroom (light only) are on the same circuit. However, only the 1 upstairs bedroom and the light in the bathroom are affected. If I turn either of the light switches on, it turns both lights on. If I turn the bathroom light on, the light in the bedroom comes on and does not shut off with the bedroom switch, no matter if the switch is in the on or off position. The same goes for the opposite, cant turn off the bathroom light when the bedroom light switch is on. The bathroom light still has the old knob and tube wiring as I havent gotten that far in the wiring process and so does the downstairs bedroom, however, I cant figure out why the only 2 lights affected are the 1 bedroom upstairs and the bath if all of the other lights act normal. There is only 1 main power feed to all the upstairs Would it be because there is no ground wire on the bathroom light fixture? Its just 12-2 to a junction box and the knob and tube wires are spliced to it in there.

Why would hotwater tap in upstairs bathroom not flow at all when other taps in the house are fine?

I would hope you have your problem solved by now but the first place I would check is for a valve under the sink that is turned off. Overflowing should be a separate problem and you would check the trap under the sink.
