Try to talk about it with your partner, in the most caring (not blaming) way possible; that bringing up a problem/situation/painful experiences from a past relationship means you are still in that relationship, when you are ready to move on we will both be happy. Tell her you support her and understand her but what happened in the past is not of your control in this present to enjoy.

Why should women have power in a relationship?
Women are usually smarter than guys and can make better choices, but NOT always. (Some people bring up the fact that women were not always able to do the things men could, such as vote, go to war, and go into a bar.) My answer is not biased on my part. I think women should have the power in a relationship because women were never given the chance to show that they deserve the right to have the power instead of the men.

I don't think that most men neglect their relationship on purpose. I think that since most men are physical in nature while women are emotional, that they don't always understand the needs of their women the same as we do not always understand their needs.
