I haven't actually heard the world was going to end in 2010. I've only heard 2012 and that is because the Myan calendar ends Dec.21.2012 or so I've heard.I'm not actually sure why a person might think the world was going to end in 2010 probably just because it's a new decade but again i can't be sure. I'm sorry your question wasn't answered for such a long period of time.
