Actually, they don't. Nobody really does that. Some Talk Shows, back in 2008, when then-Senator Obama was running for president, noted how charismatic he was and how audiences seemed to love him; so they jokingly referred to him as "the messiah"-- because it seemed some of his fans believed he would be able to magically transform Washington.
No, he is merely a US President with better intentions than some of his predecessors.
No your mistaken only christians call there god the messiah.
The final destination is the Messiah's (Obama's) grave.
Obama or as I like to call him, obama binladan
No. Our tradition and beliefs call for a human messiah, whom we still await.
of course, that's why Obama lives there
the moshiach (messiah)
The Messiah. Yahushua. Plain and simple. not just of this nation, but of all nations.
I don't want to disappoint anyone, let's wait and see. He is the president, but he is not a messiah.
Jews call "the Messiah" as "the Messiah" or in Hebrew "HaMoshiach" (המשיח). However, as opposed to other religions, such as Christianity or Islam, Judaism does not believe that the Messiah has come yet and therefore is not identified with any person. For example, Jews don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and, therefore, do not accept the Christian or Islamic claims that he was a God prophet or God/son of God.
Only 1 out 1000 are named Messiah.
Most people do not call him that. In fact, most people show him respect, which he deserves as President of the United States. But sadly, some people are prejudiced: the word "monkey" is an insulting name for a black person.
