because they want to cant they do that!
Hi, I would Like To Know if my dog is going to have her pups because she is lactating?
If mom is unable to feed the pups, they'll need to be bottle-fed until they're old enough to be weaned. Check with your Vet for appropriate formula, bottles, amounts, frequency, and duration of bottle-feeding for the pups.
no, y would it? It could even help them.
Seals and dogs have pups! From: Madax!
no if you have 2 females and ones going to have pups the other female will mate (if she can) and then they will share pups i know this as it has just happened with my dogs
They don't. Wolves are from the genus canis (in other words, dogs) and regardless of whether they are feral (wild) or domesticated (bred from wild over many generations) all dogs have pups, bears and lions have cubs.
When the pups eyes are open.
Almost nothing. Mother dogs are very good to their pups, and are protective of them until they are old enough to be self-sufficient (6 months?). Did this happen to you? I have to disagree with this answer...I have seen many mother dogs kill and eat their pups. They will do this because of instinct. You may not be able to tell there is something wrong with them but the mother knows. If they are ill or have internal issues the mother will sometimes kill them and again sometimes eat them. It is very disgusting but its their nature.
shep, is for grown sized dogs with strong teeth and gums. other pups and dogs eat different food.
Yes they can even though other pups survived its pack indstickes still says that it lost a member of its pack no matter how new it was, and female dogs have extra affection for their puppies when they are young, and dogs get very sad when they lose someone they love.
yes they do.
