∙ 7y agoSometimes dogs that are mating don't like it when other dogs are around or the dog is not used to other dogs. A dog may defend its territory if another dog comes near its home. It might be to drive the other dog away from its food. It may feel threatened in some way.

∙ 14y agoThey dont exactly attack smaller dogs they just can get jelious. if their is someone petting a small dog, the bigger dog can get mad that their not getting the attention so they go after the dog that is getting the most attention
