Teenage pregnancy is a concern for many groups, not just Christians. For the Christian standpoint, there are concerns about premarital sex. Altogether, it is an issue because teens are not usually in very stable situations as far as supporting themselves, and do not have a ton of life experience. Having a baby as a teen makes life much more difficult on the teens, the baby, and all of those that support them. Trying to wait a few extra years until you have a good solid job, an education, your own home, and a stable relationship can make a huge difference in not only your life, but the life of the baby.
Sex is a special gift from God and should not be just to anyone. It should be a special thing to do with your marriage partner and only with him/her. It is supposed to be special but the world today abuses this gift.
I don't think there is a real statistic about the subject, but I can tell you that 11-20% of teenage pregnancies worldwide are a direct result of rape.
What teenage girls think of them.
First of all teenage boys think constantly about teenage girls. We just want good looks and a smiling face too and style also matters.
yes but they are wrong
cause after hollywoods baby boom and all he teenage pregnancy shows and movies teengirls get that idea traped in there head and the want to get pregnant... the baby bump is like a fashion statment.... but this DOES NOT apy to all teen pregnancies, half are mistakes but i think all the shows and movies still apply to unplanned teen pregnancies because you get tat idea of having intercourse. hope this helped =]
Teenage pregnancy is a major contributor to poverty and low educational attainment. But it does not need to become a lifetime obstacle!
