Cancer cells are abnormal in that they do not respond to the body's internal and external symbols. When normal cells touch other cells, they stop dividing but, cancer cells don't stop dividing. They pile up causing many problems.
The reasons that Cells undergo Cell Division
-growth
-asexual reproduction
-repairing
-regeneration
-replacement
Because cells will wear out and eventually die. They have to go through cell division to ensure that there are enough working cells in the organism.
Bacteria reproduce through binary fission (cell division) and conjugation. In cell division, the bacteria duplicates its single chromosome, then divides into two different cells; this can happen at an extremely rapid rate (20 minutes). In conjugation, two cells temporarily attach, exchanging DNA; this increases genetic diversity, making the species more sustainable. Once the species detatch, they then go through cell division to reproduce.
I just know of it as cell growth.
Mitosis is the process of genetic duplication while cytoplasmic division is the separating of one parent cell into two daughter cells. While the two often go hand-in-hand, mitosis precedes cytoplasmic division.
Cells are called the basic unit of life because anything that is alive needs to have at least one cell. Cells go through mitosis to make more cells and to create life.
an onion cell is a plant cell, in which plant cells are rectangular shape and so are onion cells
if by division you mean mitosis then all cells except sex cells go through mitosis. Sex cells go through meiosis. Mitosis is basically the process of a cell splitting into 2 daughter cells.
Animal cells go through Mitosis while plants go through meiosis...
well know one knows really CELL DIVISION cell division is the process that cells go through in order to divide
in order for cells to reproduce they must go through cell division or in other words mitosis. they go through steps that last a bit of time to reproduce.
Somatic cells are the cells that form the body like skin, blood and bones. These type of cells go through the cell division process called mitosis. Gametes, or germline cells, like sperm and ova go a different cell division process called meiosis.
1st answer) i think all cells go through mitosis the process of cell division 2nd answer) Mostly all cells go through mitosis, but sex or reproductive cells go through meiosis instead.
Yes, ALL cells undergo cell division. Because if there were types of cells that don't undergo cell division, these cells' specialization wouldn't be able to grow or be replaced. For example if hair cells didn't undergo cell division; your hair wouldn't be able to grow. NO!! Nerve cells,Red blood cells..they don't undergo cell division.
it is formed by meiosis. At first the spermatazoa go through mitosis making two spermatocytes. which then goes through meiosis producing 4 spermatids which then go through spermogenisi n make 4 sperm cells
prokaryotes go through binary fission (budding), while eukaryotes go through mitosis
The cells go through the cell's membrane
Plant cells have a cell wall, so it can't pinch in and separate like an animal cell does. So, a plant cell forms a cell plate in the middle, then that becomes a cell wall and new membrane. That's why plant cells are so close together.
cell division is Mitosis, and they go though that process to get 2 daughter cells with same amount of chromosomes. It also repeats itself
