Why do cats smell?
Cats smell good because they clean themselves a lot.
eather it just farted or its hungry, cats smell when their hungry
Because they are wondering "hey whats that?! *snifsnif* o my! another animal was here! who could it be? *sniff* smells like a dog! How dare he poo on my territory!". There ya… go! :)
Fur resuridination (rezz-oo-ar-din-ay-tch-on) is a process where the animals fur has a silky kind of oil on it, called resurdinant. (rezz-err-din-ant) The resurdinant (the oil…) has the same texture has jojoba oil or cooking oil, but you can't see it. It's like sweat, but not. Anyway, the resurdinant left residue on your hands after picking the animal up, and the resurdinant smells of that animal, (it's signature scent). and I'm not talking perfumes. For instance, a dolphin smells of fish whilst a cat may smell different. Only fur animals resurdinate. Resurdinant can lead to fatal health problems if it is contaminated with a disease.
Because they always slide side to side to hide or escape from a creature or person.
In odours so to speak, no they dont.
That is how they say hello and to know who that other cat is.
They have a very keen sense of smell, so yes.
They use their very sensitive noses, but sometimes they will open their mouths slightly - almost to taste it the scent. It is unclear why cats do this, but one theory is to ge…t more information on the scent or the object they are smelling.
Because if they can sense maybe an unknown smell on you like if you've been outside, they want to find out what it is.
The fact that cats hate the smell of citrus is well known. However, this doesn't apply to all cats, and some seem to be fascinated by the sharp smell. The strong, sharp smell …citrus fruits give off may be the cause of a cat sniffing it at length; the cat sniffs the fruit carefully so not to hurt its nose.
In Cat Behavior
They've been placed under general anesthesia for the procedure and may have leaked some urine onto themeselves either during the procedure or while recovering post-operatively….
The only way I can think of is bathing your cat, if the smell is getting to be a real bother. o-o
