Check the electrics
u might have a lose connection or a bad earth try taking the whole lights out nd giving them a clean
Loose wiring. Improper connection.
It sounds like you have a short somewhere.
you need to replace the fuse for the headlights.
The tail lights on a VW Golf may keep blowing if a short is present in the system. When wires become damaged, they will quickly overload a circuit and blow fuses and bulbs.
Newer vehicles have halogen lamps the oil on your skin causes the bulb to overheat and blow do not touch glass part of the insert
There is a short in the wiring or in the bulb. Try changing the bulbs first.
Caution Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal injury: Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing the bulb. Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete. Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb. Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass. Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb. Properly dispose of the used bulb. Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children. Raise the hood. Remove the headlamp assembly bolts from the upper fascia support. Slide the headlamp assembly outward enough to release the headlamp bracket tabs from the slots in the upper fascia support. Position the headlamp assembly away from the vehicle body to access the electrical connector. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp assembly. Remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp bulb/socket. Remove the headlamp bulb/socket retainer ring from the headlamp, by turning counterclockwise. Remove the headlamp bulb/socket from the headlamp assembly.
It is possible that one of the bulbs is shorting out. Try replacing the brake light bulbs, if that doesn't work, troubleshoot the brake light switch.
Are you blowing fuses or are the bulbs blowing? Blowing fuses would be a sign of any wires or metal contacts in your brake circuit grounding out or shorting on themselves. You'll have to check all of the wiring in your brake light/switch circuit to be sure.
If your bulbs continue blowing out I think I know your problem, I'm assuming you're replacing these bulbs yourself. I'm also going to assume you are not wearing clean rubber gloves when removing the bulb from its packaging and installing on your truck. If this is the case then that bulb is getting covered with the oils and grease that is on your hand from when you scratched your balls earlier today therefore causing said bulb to burn out.
Find out why the fuse is blowing. You have a short or the circuit is overloaded.
