If you do not count the Viet Nam War and the Korean War then that statement saying there were more deaths in the war on terrorism than in the Cold War would be true. However, it is not true. If you consider the Cold War fought as an arms race and conflict of CIA vs. KGB that statement would hold true since there were less deaths. Since the Viet Nam War and the Korean War and the War in Afghanistan (with Russia) were all part of the Cold War then it is not true. So more people died in the Cold War than in the War on Terrorism.
The Reign of terror, also known as "The Terror", is an event of violence that happened during the French revolution. Many have died during this period using the Guillotine. The name Reign of terror is used rather than using the name of the person ruling at that time and it signifies that terror or revenge was the one in control at that said period.

He was not a hero at all. He went too far with his revolutionary ideas. He killed thousands of people, sending them to the guillotine, just because they still believed in the monarchial system Maximilien Robespierre wanted to get rid of so desperately. He killed everybody that thought differently than him. He was the creator of the reign of terror and was eventually sent to the guillotine himself in 1794 after the French turned against him when their eyes opened and say what he had done. He didn't even have a trial, and was beheaded faced upwards.

It is a myth that heavier weight people feel hotter than thinner people. In fact, the more weight, the more a person feels cold even in the sun, warm water, etc. Heavier people need more energy to generate body heat and if blood circulation is also impaired, they will often feel cooler than expected.

The cold war showed others that America can do more then just stick their noses in other people's business. It showed America can accomplish more than expected. Also, the Cold War was a way of telling Russia to get off their back.
