Annes sister Margot was supposed to be sent to a transit camp and later be killed at Auschwitz. To avoid this from happening, she hid with the rest of her family from the Nazis that would come for her. The Nazis would use her family to get to her if they all didnt hide.

∙ 12y agoI think knowing that the slightest sound could get you caught, therefore killed is pretty frighting. Also that there were a lot of people for that small space- she was sharing a room with a dentist! (I have nothing against dentists- honest)
