Why did Hitler want the Jews to die?

The political reason given was that the Jews were aligned with the Bolshevik revolution in Russia, and were hence Communists. Communists were feared in Germany for not only their brutality but for what, they feared, was a totalitarian state in which there would be little freedom and the German culture and society would be radically changed, and everyone would suffer a lower standard of living. Great exhibitions were given to get that point across.

Hitler hated the Jews from the time he was in his late teens up. He felt they had taken over Germany in every aspect of business. Hitler was neither all that intelligent and was one angry young man. Historians feel Hitler was brain-washed in hospital after he was temporarily blinded in WW1 and lead to believe that Germany should have an Ayrian Race. Blond, blue-eyed and of great intelligence. He was not the one entirely who hatched the idea to exterminate the Jews (Gypsies included) or anyone hiding Jews in their homes. Because Hitler wanted all the people to be the same tipe. All the disabled people were killed Evan if the had a broken arm that soon would heal they would die. Turned out Hitler had some Jewish blood in him.

Hitler blamed all of Germany's problems on the Jews. He used them as an excuse as to why Germany was in such dire straits after the first world war. Some people have suggested he was afraid of the Bolsheviks and believed they and the Politburo were mostly Jewish (which was not true). He believed the Jewish population was dangerous and capable of harming Germany (which also wasn't true).

But that does not answer the question of why so much hatred towards the Jews, why the death sentence. Many books and articles have been written about Hitler's prejudices and many theories have been offered to try to explain why he blamed (and killed) the Jews, who made up perhaps 3% of Germany and were in no way responsible for the country's problems. In the end, Hitler's actions destroyed more than six million innocent Jewish people. The fact that he saw nothing wrong with that (and the fact that many Germans agreed with his policies and even helped him) is an appalling chapter in world history.

Not according to Mein Kampf. In his early life he had no problem with Jews. His viewpoint changed near the time he was taking power. He had an obsessive mindset about the superiority of the German breed. Prior to the war, Germans were in a near civil war state over class-war concepts mostly propagated by university professors which Hitler noted were mostly Jewish. He thought these "orators of evil" were an outside influence cajoling the Germans into self-destruction. Thus, he thought it his duty to eliminate them (Jews were not the only victims of his destructive prowess.) As an aside, he also noted that Jews were over-represented in the upper strata of German society and therefore were enjoying societal positions that should be held by Germans. These two concepts seem to be his primary reasons for the camps. He thought it prudent to get rid of those he thought were detrimental to his goal of making the German people the dominant race and rulers of, at least, Europe.
