While WikiAnswers won't let you put pictures directly into your answers - you CAN include a 'related link' which could point to a web-site containing a picture of what you're trying to explain.
WikiAnswers can add Related Links to questions that show pictures of dogs, but the pictures cannot be added directly to WikiAnswers. If you ask a question asking for a picture of a dog, then you will most likely get an answer with a Related Link to a picture of a dog.
No, you can't. You could add a link using the "add related links" option over at the side

If a question is redirected to "What questions add no value to WikiAnswers?", then it became an alternate to that question because it added no value. Questions like "Purple blue yellow ice cream?" will be merged into "What questions add no value to WikiAnswers?" because, as the question states, they do not add any value to the site.
