Another reason for laziness is avoidance - people don't want to do something unpleasant, so they try to get out of doing it. Sometimes people are lazy because they are depressed, also - they don't have the energy to do things and need to see a psychiatrist for medication for their depression.

∙ 10y agoBecause it's the weekend, so I can be. During the work week, I probably do more physical work by lunchtime than the average worker does all day, so if I want to just relax on the weekends, I feel I've more than earned it.
