Why are Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez no longer friends?

Because people sometimes have different schedules and aims. Children often read the wrong things into this. You do not have to spend all your time with a friend. In fact the mark of a friend is not having to see and talk to them all the time.

Selena Gomez had an interview with Sonali from newround and then one of the questions were that "if you were on a desert island alone and you were aloud to take one person with you that's not a member of your family who would it be" and Selena said Taylor which kind of surprised Sonali then Sonali said "lots of people have been asking who is your bff..is it still demi lovato..or is it now Taylor Swift"? and Selena said that i have lots of bff so im lucky i surround myself with good people.

Selena never even answered the question properly.

ALSO demi came out of bbc radio and was signing stuff for fans.one fan asked "how's Selena" and demi repiled "ask Taylor." People were saying on YouTube that demi dissed Selena BUT Selena dissed demi because when Sonali asked Selena who's your BFF she said i have lots.demi and Selena have been BFFS since they were in barney SO it was wrong of Selena to say she has lots of BFF when demi was like her BFF since barney but still people can change their minds.

Of course they are still BF F's they were on Barney and Princess Protection program together and they will be BF F's for forever more. They might have some fights and differences but they'll fight it out and eventually forgive each other. Sometimes people and boys might get in between them once and a while but they will always be there for each other.

I cannot say that they are "no longer friends" but they are definitely not BFF's like they used to be. There is this video on youtube where when Demi was in London , one of her fans asked her "How's Selena?" and Demi replied by saying " Ask Taylor". There has been a lot of rumors saying that they "Taylor" Demi is talking about is Taylor Lautner. But it mostly seems to be that she is actually talking about Taylor Swift, because lately , Selena has been hanging around more with Taylor Swift but at the same time, Demi has been hanging with people like Trace Cyrus and she spend her summer with Miley Cyrus.

Its not really clear why their friendship turned out to this. But I hope they will be back as BFF's soon :)

Well, unfortunately nobody really knows. But I've read that Taylor Swift got between them somehow. I also just read that Over the summer in between Selena Filming Monte Carlo and being on Tour she said she's had a lot of time to think. And also Demi tweeted: "Had dinner with an old friend tonight... Was definitely worth the Hollywood Bowl traffic." And as many insides get to Selena's neighborhood you need to drive past the Hollywood Bowl! While it's true only time will tell with these two, one thing's for sure this fall is a new start for both Selena and Demi and an end to negativity and drama both are looking to escape.
