Haiti invaded the Dominican Republic in 1822 and for the next 22 years until 1844, the Dominican Republic experience one of the saddest era recorded in our modern time.

Finally, after the Dominican Republic managed to free themselves from the Haiti invasion and be on their own, it was a substantial period of time and which haitians were not welcome to this side of the island. This behave was most probably due to the fact that haitians continue to view this part of the island as if still belongs to them. That alonside with criminal alongside the border making life miserable to dominicans, which continue until Expresident Trujillo under the information of haitians crossing the border to still cows and others goods, order the killing of every haitians on dominican soil.

After this event, it was not until 1996 that haitians began to mass migrated to Dominican Republic and ever since dominicans despite a world of problems and our society and economy, we has managed to help financially, morality and with technology. All of this, without the help of anyone.

But it seems that haitians are not gratefull enough, apparently because they probably feel we has to do it. And there is where the problem is. On the earthquake of 2010 that hit haiti, we provide more help than any other country, we were there from day one, but again, they merely say thank you.. Their present president, say thank you and the majority of dominican felt that, he really did not mean that.

Finally, they are over one million ilegals haitians on the Dominican Republic and we exercise our legal rights to deport any of those ilegal aliens, the international comunity say that we are a bunch of racist. Where is the justice on that.
