Well, clara bow is a goodexample of a flapper/actress from the 1920's, and Harry Houdini was around in the 1920's, who represented the advance of media at the time. there was also Henry Ford, the creator of Ford cars, who was one of the first people to use a conveyer belt for manufacturing.
